如何看待成人礼 What Do You Think Of The Adult Ceremony?

Recently, some reports about high school graduates holding adult ceremonies attracted the public’s attention. In China, some senior school graduates wear ancient-style clothes and hold a ceremony that follows ancient customs and tradition; meanwhile, some graduates organized a self-financing party to celebrate their graduation, which follows the customs in western countries.

最近，一些关于高中毕业生举办成人礼的报道引起了大众的关注。在中国，一些高中毕业生穿着古风衣装，遵循古代传统和习俗举办了场成人礼，与此同时，还有的学生也自筹经费组织了场西式的毕业聚会。

 

Some people are astonished by these celebrating activities and think it is too luxurious and waste, the other holds the view that it is an ordinary celebration. As for me, I agreed with the latter. First, our ancestors had a tradition to hold an adult ceremony, this kind of celebration witness one’s growth and remind you of independence and responsible. Second, a self-financing party for remembering and recording our adolescence is reasonable. The young are trying to show their mature image. 

有些人对这种庆祝活动感到很惊讶，他们认为这种行为很奢侈浪费，有的人则表示理解，认为这就是一种普通的庆祝宴会。至于我，我赞同后者的看法。首先，我们的先辈们也曾有过这样庆祝成年的传统。这种仪式见证了一个人的成长，提醒着自己成人应具有独立和责任感。其次，这种为纪念我们青春时代而举办活动也很合理。年轻人只是在试图暂时他们成熟的一面。

 

In a conclusion, the luxury party should not be encouraged, but an appropriate way to record our youthful time is agreeable.

总之，奢侈的宴会当然是不受支持的，但是一种恰当的纪念自己年轻岁月的方式是可以接受的。
