Recently, I read a magazine, there was article talking about the lazy generation in America. The generation was born between 1980 and 1991, and they have got a bad reputation. Old folks said they were spoiled and lazy. Work supervisors find them hard to manage, they are easily distracted and unwilling to put in long hours. We could not help wondering why they act like this.
In early 2000, researchers talked to more than 2,000 people, including a large group of 18-29-year-old guys. The searchers found that the guys were so confident and open to change. But it could just as easily take them with no ambition, no work ethic, and what’s more, the group guys are proud of themselves.
There are about 50 million lazy generations, and many of them have received good educations and major financial support from their parents. But when it comes time to find a job, most of them prefer to stay at home or just work minimal hours. Parents have a responsibility to the lazy generation, they spoil them and make them become what they are today. The children should have the consciousness to work and face their challenges.
