1. My Summer Vacation 我的暑假
This summer vacation, I went to the beach for a holiday. The sea breeze was cool, and the shells on the beach were colorful. My friends and I swam, built sandcastles, and played beach volleyball. Every evening, we watched the beautiful sunset over the sea. Although the vacation was short, I had a wonderful time. Spending this time with my family and friends gave me many beautiful memories.
今年的暑假，我去了海边度假。海风很凉爽，沙滩上的贝壳五光十色。我和我的朋友一起游泳、堆沙堡，还玩了沙滩排球。每天傍晚，我们还看海上美丽的日落。虽然暑假很短，但我过得非常开心。和家人朋友一起度过这段时光，我收获了很多美好的回忆。
2. My Hometown 我的家乡
My hometown is a small village in the mountains. The weather here is mild all year round, and the air is fresh. There are many green trees and small streams around the village. In spring, the trees sprout, and the flowers bloom. The people in the village are very friendly, and everyone cares for each other. Life here is simple and peaceful. I really love my hometown because it is where I grew up, and it holds my warmest memories.

My dream job is to become a doctor. I want to help sick people and help them get better. Doctors need not only a lot of medical knowledge but also compassion. I hope to help more people in need through my efforts. I will work hard to learn the necessary skills so that I can contribute to society in the future.

I hope that one day I can be like him—a responsible person.

My favorite food is fried chicken and French fries. Every time I go to a fast-food restaurant, I always order this meal. The fried chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the French fries are fragrant and crunchy—so delicious! I also like to have a cup of Coke with it, which makes the taste even better. Although I don’t eat this often, I really enjoy it when I do.

My wish is to become a scientist when I grow up. I want to explore space and learn about the stars, planets, and the universe. I will study hard and learn more about science. I believe that by working hard and being curious, I can make my dream come true. I hope one day I can make new discoveries and help people with my knowledge. I believe that science can change the world, and I want to be part of it.

Protecting the environment is very important. If we don't take care of nature, it will be damaged, and our future will be affected. We should not litter or waste water. We need to plant more trees and reduce pollution. Recycling is also a good way to protect the Earth. Everyone can do their part to help the environment. If we all work together, we can make the Earth a better place to live.

My idol is Li Na, a famous Chinese tennis player. She is known for her hard training and strong determination. Li Na won the French Open in 2011 and the Australian Open in 2014, making a miracle for Chinese tennis. I really admire Li Na's courage. Even when facing challenges, as long as you keep going, you can overcome difficulties and achieve your goals. I hope I can be as brave as Li Na in the future.

My favorite book is Harry Potter. It is full of magic, friendship, and adventure. Harry is a brave and kind boy who fights against bad wizards. I admire him because he always helps his friends and never gives up. The story makes me feel excited and curious about what will happen next. I like reading this book because it takes me to a magical world where anything is possible. Reading is fun and helps me learn new things.
