If you have known someone for a long time, you can say that you are "acquainted" with them, or that you have a "long-standing" friendship. For example, you could say "I've been acquainted with John for many years" or "I have a long-standing friendship with Jane." You can also simply say that you have "known" the person for a long time, as in "I've known Mary for over a decade."
